Seeds is the marketing and promotional arm of Springs Valley Holdings.
It markets seed nationally and internationally for beef cattle pastures,
dairy pastures, cover crops, mining rehabilitation, highway stabilisation,
urban and industrial amenity usage.
Southedge Seeds has extensive agronomic establishment and management experience
of pasture and revegetation cultivars, and is widely known as the "Australian
Pasture Professionals".
It
has operated for over 25 years in the subtropical, wet tropical and tropical
savannah of Northern Australia, with overseas involvement in SE Asian
countries, eg Philippines, Malaysia and the Pacific region of Papua New
Guinea.
Southedge
Seeds is a reliable supplier of top quality seed which is graded and
packaged in its own modern cleaning plant. All production is marketed
under the Springs Valley® and ENVIROGRO™ brands. ENVIROGRO™ pelleted
seed, is a new fully patented seed technology improving tropical pasture
seed quality.
It
has the licence for six PBR (Plant Breeder's Rights) cultivars which
it produces and markets.
